Evolve Day

We recommend you complete an Evolve Day every 2-3 years with ELS.

Evolve Days are in-school training days, taking place during a normal school day. We will observe teaching, coach teachers both within the classroom and outside of the classroom, look at data, support you with identifying your key next-steps and leave you with a report that provides a plan for continued success with ELS.

Along with your Reading Lead, our ELS Expert will deep-dive into your ELS practice and identify areas of strength and areas for improvement to ensure the best outcomes for your children. Our report is based on the key Ofsted criteria, identifying where you are on your phonics journey and allowing you to move forward with purpose.

Cost: £700 + expenses + VAT

INSET Day

An INSET day is always designed around the school’s needs.

Examples of bespoke INSET days we've held:

* How to use ELS within a specialist settings.

* A day focused purely on the structure of the programme, taking a deep-dive into the ELS teaching style and progression. Taking the time to model and practise teaching the lessons and interventions with your team.

* A day split into two halves for schools who have been using the programme for one year or more. A refresher of the ELS programme in the morning followed by data analysis and next steps in the afternoon.

* A day of training with specific teams within the school.

Cost:

½ Day: £650 + expenses + VAT

Whole Day: £950 + expenses + VAT

Initial Teacher Training Day

Schools may opt for the online module training to take place as a full day, in-person INSET with one of our phonics experts.

This would include:

* Embed - The Theory & Pedagogy behind ELS

* Enact - How to deliver ELS

* Enable - Intervention: how to ensure all children keep up rather than catch up

Cost: £750 + expenses + VAT

Trust Bespoke Support

Looking to host INSET days or Evolve Days across your Trust?

Get in touch to create a specific package to support your staff within your schools.

We provide shared learning opportunities, data analysis and coaching across your schools to support the needs of each school’s needs.

These are usually completed with the same trainer or duo of trainers to ensure consistent joined-up approach and feedback to all your Trust Schools.

Cost: these days or sessions are priced to meet the needs of the Trust.

Twilight Training Session

Are you looking for a staff meeting either virtually or in-person?

We can host after-school sessions of 1.5 or 2 hours to deliver training updates and support on elements of the ELS Programme to all staff or smaller groups.

Cost: £180 per hour + expenses + VAT

Essential Foundation Stage

This is a ½ day training either virtually or in-person that comprises:

* The underpinnings and pedagogy of ELS

* How to use the ELS Foundation Stage Planning within your setting

* Measuring outcomes for Foundation Stage

Cost: £600 + VAT + expenses

ELS Progress and ELS: Essential Spelling

Virtual or in-person training that covers these elements of the programme. These sessions will be bespoke and the length determined by your requirements.

Cost: dependant on timings

Data Support or PSC Support sessions

These support calls provide an opportunity to analyse data. In the term preceding the PSC give purposeful next steps to ensure maximum success at the Phonics Screening Check.

Cost: £50 + VAT per school (20 minutes)
